Obstetrician and academic Caitlin O’Neill takes a post in Brisbane Australia to be close to her sister who has breast cancer. The last thing on her mind is romance and especially not with notorious flirt and her polar opposite, Dr Andrew Bedi- who thinks that women are more at home in the bedroom than a hospital ward. But when Caitlin finds herself pregnant, Andrew discovers that Caitlin is exactly the woman for him. But can he convince her?
This story was partly based on personal experience. A member of my close family had breast cancer. Happily, she is fine now, but I know how illness can affect the whole family.
My husband worked in Brisbane as an out of hours GP and I was his driver. I was pregnant with our first child at the time and was so hot! When we went to the Green mountains (I use the setting in the book) I remember what a relief the cool mountain air was. I loved Australia and as my Aunt lives in Perth, I hope one day to come back.
